2010 Pre-Season Rankings - Midwest

One of Ohio's top programs, Glenville (Cleveland, OH), tops the list in the 2010 Pre-Season Prep Football America rankings for the Midwest. Glenville is another of those powerhouse teams that seems to have the ability to re-load each season. This year is no different.

Wheaton-Warrenville South (Wheaton, IL) and St. Xavier (Louisville, KY) will make strong bids to bid among the nation's best before the 2010 season is over.

East Grand Rapids (Grand Rapids, MI) and  Glenbard West (Glen Ellyn, IL) round out the top five in the Midwest.

It didn't take long for All-American offensive lineman James Hurst, from Indianapolis (IN) Plainfield, to make up his mind on his college of choice.  Hurst decided this spring to join the Tar Heels in North Carolina.

Prep Football All-American Beau Allen, from Minnetonka (MN) Minnetonka, has made it pretty well known that he will make his final college decision once his senior season is over. Reason is he wants to take all of his official visits.

Allen (6-3, 295) is one of the top D-Lineman around the nation in the class of 2010, and he is a top 5 player in Minnesota in this class. The rising senior is a solid force along the D-Line having recorded 38 tackles and 3 sacks as a sophomore, and 47 tackles, 3 sacks and 2 fumble recoveries in 2008. Read the full story ...

Two-sport super athlete and Prep Football All-American Devin Gardner, from Detroit (MI) Inkster, seems to be leaning toward Rich Rodriguez and the Michigan Wolverines. Once basketball season is over the talented Gardner is expected to make his announcement.
